the forthcoming 29th international symposium on halogenated persistent organic pollutants (dioxin 2009) will be held on august 23-28, 2009 in beijing, china.

the venue will take place in the world-class conference facilities of beijing international convention center (bicc), which is located near the center of the beijing olympic park, just a few hundred meters away from the spectacular beijing national stadium (bird's nest/olympic stadium) and the luminous the national aquatics center (the water cube). we greatly appreciate your interest and warmly welcome your participation.

dioxin 2009 will offer an international interdisciplinary forum for the communication of the latest scientific advances in the study, analysis, and solution of environmental problems concerned with dioxins and other persistent organic pollutants. in addition to a comprehensive scientific program in several parallel sessions, there will also be a full social program.
