Bioresource Technology (SCI 2010 IF=4.365) has taken the initiative of bringing out special issues of the journal on highly relevant topical themes pertaining to its scope. In recent times, there have been special issues on Biofuels, Biocatalysis and MBR. In view of the significant global interest on Biorefineries, Bioresource Technology has now decided to bring out a special issue on this subject.

The guest editors are:

Review articles will be considered only by invitation from the guest editors. Original research articles can be submitted by any author.

Authors are invited to submit their articles via the online submission system, which will remain open for submission until 30th June 2012. All the submissions will undergo the usual peer-review process of the journal.
