Postdoctoral Position in Environmental Electrochemistry at Villanova University

The Environmental Chemistry Research Group at Villanova University (http://brianchaplin.webnode.com) is seeking candidates for a Postdoctoral research position in Environmental Electrochemistry. The research focuses on elucidating the mechanisms of electrochemical transformations at the electrode-liquid interface on the molecular scale.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, and have prior experience in analytical chemistry, ATR-FTIR spectroscopy, electrochemistry, and/or advanced surface characterization techniques. Interested applicants should send a cover letter, CV, the names of three references, and one published manuscript in pdf format to Prof. Brian Chaplin (brian.chaplin@villanova.edu).

The position is available August 15, 2011. The initial appointment is for one year and will be renewed upon performance and available funds.
