国外博士后 - 德国汉堡大学招聘生物能源博士后
The research project “CallBio – Resistant Plants for Simplified Bio-ethanol Production by Optimizing Bio-synthesis of the Cell Wall Polymer Callose” is part of a new innovation initiative “BioEnergy 2021” supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) focused on sustainable energy production from biomass.
Job description:
Molecular, biochemical, and cell biological analysis of callose synthesis in model plants and bio-energy plants to increase fungal resistance and callose production. A main focus is the transfer of results from model plants to energy plants. Results are aimed at sustainable production and supply of optimized biomass for bio-fuel production.
The project will be integrated in a growing interdisciplinary and international research group providing close supervision and training as well as exchange with other lab members.
The successful candidate holds a PhD/doctoral degree in molecular biology biochemistry of plants or relevant biological or biochemical sciences. Experience in working with model plants and grasses is welcome but not required.
